Field Trip Animal Explorers
This is definitely a camper’s favorite adventure! Because we will have all day together, we will have the opportunity to visit animals near and far. We will go to the NC Zoo. This is a fantastic treasure and never disappoints. We will see some of the updated animal exhibits and play on the playgrounds. We will visit animals in other places that we can see up close and some that we can even interact with! Last year at the Aloha Zoo, we were able to pet a 4 month old baby lemur and feed giraffes and lots of huge grazing animals! We met a baby pygmy hippo named Blueberry. We have seen him as a newborn two years ago, and then as a silly toddler last year! This camp is designed for campers to be able to join for the first time or come back again to see new animal friends we have made! Each day, we will have arts and crafts projects for our time on the bus and as we have time at the end of the day! We will have picnics and playtime together at every location. Musical Madness 2026: Session I (Two weeks)
 
This year's MUSICAL MADNESS is a 2-week camp in which students~
Create and perform an original musical in just 10 days!
Over an explosively creative 2 week period, campers in Musical Madness will collaborate to write, rehearse, costume, choreograph, tech (lights! sound! sets! special effects!), and perform a brand new, never-before-seen musical. Your guides are Creighton Irons and Eric Davis, theater professionals from Woodshed Arts who will help you realize your creative vision. No experience necessary!
*PLEASE NOTE: The theater tech portion will gear up in the second week, when Eric joins us. Campers primarily interested in tech can sign up for either both weeks or just week two.

This is a two-week camp EXCEPT for those just interested in learning the theater tech portion, which will gear up the second week. For those who are interested in that offering is set forth separately as Musical Madness: Session II ONLY (registration fee of $500).
Session: Musical Madness is a full-day camp spanning both the AM and PM sessions. The times are 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. each day.
