After-Camp Care w/Loretta Hackney 4:00-5:00 p.m.



Boss not nice enough to let you off work every day in time to pick your camper up from Woods at 4:00 p.m.?  What's THAT about?  Did someone forget to tell him/her that it's SUMMER???  We've got a solution for you: your children can hang out & chill out with Loretta Hackney's after camp until you can pick them up!  Mrs. Hackney's ability to relate well to children of all ages is proven, and she'll offer a nice relaxing time for her after-camp kids during which entertainment options will include a variety of things ranging from artistic endeavors to academic assistance. 

Cost: $25/week*

You may also pay $5/day if you do not need before-camp care for the entire week.  Make these arrangements directly with Mrs. Hackney. 

Before-Camp Care w/Loretta Hackney 7:45-9:00 a.m.


Do you need to drop your camper off early in order to arrive at work on time?  We have before-camp care available from 7:45-9:00 a.m. every day with Loretta Hackney.   Loretta's rapport with children is legendary, and the environment she provides is filled with light, love & laughter.

Cost: $25/week*

You may also pay $5/day if you do not need before-camp for the entire week. Make these arrangements directly with Mrs. Hackney. 

Dr. Seuss Camp-Oh The Places We Will Go!(Full Day)


Pre-Schoolers will have fun preparing for the first big transition of their life....Kindergarten. We will enjoy the whimsical imagination of Dr. Seuss as we incorporate numbers, letters and social skills development into playful activities. Children will engage motor skills through games and art activities. Of course, camp wouldn't be camp if we didn't get dirty! Anybody for mud and water play?

Ages:  4-6*

Game ON!


Can't get your favorite gamer away from the screen? We run real obstacle courses like Mario, practice surviving a zombie apocalypse PVZ-style, and smash real rocks like Minecraft!  Each day will be packed with fun, real world activities that are game themed such as Minecraft, Plants vs. Zombies, Pokemon, and even vintage games.  (Pacman fans, anyone?) Team challenges and make-and-take crafts that kids actually want will keep your camper engaged and socializing.  Friday will be our Favorites Party with water games!

Hip Hop Dance Camp

Explore the fun and excitement of hip hop dance. We will begin camp with an ice breaker or fun game each day. We will do warm up exercises and learn fun and exciting routines. We will also have fun making crafts, designing costumes and building props for our performance at the end of the camp week.

Ages: 5-10

Jedi Engineering using LEGO

The Force Awakens in this introductory engineering course for young Jedi! Explore engineering principles by designing and building projects such as LEGO® X-Wings, R2 Units, Energy Catapults, Defense Turrets, and Settlements from a galaxy far, far away. Create motorized and architectural projects with imagination and engineering to defeat the Empire!

Ages:  5-7

Jedi Master Engineering using LEGO

The Force Awakens in this advanced engineering course for young Jedi! Discover key engineering concepts such as gear trains, worm drives, pneumatics, and eccentric motion. Build LEGO X-Wings, AT-AT walkers, Pod Racers, Star Destroyers, Cloud Cities, Settlements, Fortresses, and other complex machines and structures from a galaxy far, far away.

Jewels, Dazzle, & Bling for Me & My AG Doll

Day one is a field trip to the local craft store so pick out supplies. Days 2-5 will consist of designing, playing with color and placement, laying out, crafting, and creating beautiful jewelry for your American Girl Doll (or any 18" doll), plus a matching item for you! Students will use jewelry making items, beads, cord, paper, etc, to design and create jewelry for their dolls and themselves.

LEGO Robotics


Campers will work in small groups to design,build and program robots using the LEGO Mindstorm Robotics Kits. In addition to having fun, participants will learn about mechanical and software design, problem solving and teamwork skills. Student teams will complete mini challenges and will have an opportunity to design and program their own robots. No previous experience with the LEGO Mindstrorm kits is required.

Little Veterinarian School


Little Veterinarian School encourages elementary aged children to role play and explore the exciting field of veterinary medicine. Using interactive demonstrations, crafts and games, kids learn how to measure and take assessments of a pet dog, practice how to remove ticks, and even learn to suture a wound. Each Student will take home their own stuffed animal dog that they will adopt along with a tape measure, dog bowl, frisbee, and so much more!

Maker Camp

Do you like building? Do you like games? Then this is the perfect camp for you. Each day campers will be challenged to create a new game using common materials and technology. Campers will have to problem solve and work as a team in order to create awesome projects that each camper gets to take home. Build classic and creative games, with a DIY electronics twist!

Ages:  7-12

Sewing for My American Girl Doll: Sleepover Party!

Day one is a field trip to the local fabric store so pick out supplies. Days 2-5 will consist of designing, cutting, pinning, piecing, sewing, and pressing sleep-related items one would find at a sleepover, such as: a sleeping bag, an eye mask, jammies, etc, for your American Girl Doll (or any 18" doll). Students will use both a sewing machine (Woods makes sewing machines available for each student to use while at the camp), and more traditional sewing tools like an iron, pins, needles, and scissors to design and create items for their doll.

Ages:  7-12

Girl's Lacrosse Camp


This camp is for girls 5th through 8th graders wanting to learn more about the game of lacrosse. With groups and curriculum designed for beginners through intermediate (and advanced younger players), attendees will have fun while building new skills.

Ages:  10-14

Youth Hoops is a youth basketball instruction firm offering ongoing basketball camps and clinics to kids (boys & girls) ranging in ages 6 to 14. The camps and clinics are based on a comprehensive course curriculum, which emphasizes basketball fundamentals. Such basketball fundamentals include dribbling, passing, shooting, one-on-one defense, footwork, screening and rebounding.  Using professional and portable basketball drills, kids will be able to improve their game greatly. In addition, many drills may be repeated anywhere.  The goal of our camp is to provide every camper, within a fun-filled atmosphere, the basic fundamentals necessary to play basketball. We emphasize the fundamentals. Every camper will be shown what to practice and more importantly HOW TO PRACTICE. Everyone will receive plenty of individual attention. We want each camper to be a better player when the week is over.
