Ninja Camp

Martial Art's training is a time honed and honored vehicle for teaching life's most important lessons. Martial Arts instills both confidence and humility, focus and power, respect and self control. Instructors from Chapel Hill Quest Martial Arts, the area's premier martial arts facility, will be offering a week long Martial Arts immersion opportunity. Camp participants study a one of a kind, expertly designed, youth specific To-Shin Do Ninjutsu curriculum, which focuses on developing the physical skills of staying balanced, delivering power, and whole body coordination. These attributes will serve your children well no matter where their life takes them. More importantly than the physical, Quest Center Instructors help your children learn communication skills, boundary setting and respecting, proper assertiveness, and conflict resolution skills. They practice dealing with conflict. What better way to help your child deal with bullying issues than to give them opportunities to practice? The best part of all is that they have a blast doing it! Every day at camp is an adventure.

Paint & Create!

These are just a sample of possible patterns campers can choose from!

Tap into your creativity as you explore decorative painting. "Tole Painting" is pretty easy - a pattern is traced onto a surface and then painted. Sound simple? It really is! So, if you "can't even draw a straight line with a ruler," (and even if you can) this camp is for you. You will be amazed at how techniques such as shading, blending, one-stroke, spattering, and dry brush will make your painting come alive. We will experiment with these, and many others as we discover the joy of painting. Students will paint their very own "treasure box" and complete their project using a design of their own creation.
